Busy Santa Monica family with 2 ATHLETIC boys (6 and 8 years) are in need of a positive, committed and animated after school nanny, with opportunity for additional hours to fulfill FA duties, if desired! Mom is looking for an all-star who can be her right hand and help her keep things running smoothly! The nanny who will thrive in this role is organized, manages her time efficiently, is kind, happy go lucky, and engages with their nanny kids! LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 3:30PM-7:30PM is the core schedule (with the kids); family can offer extra hours (1PM-7:30PM) if candidate is open to additional FA/Household tasks (~20-32 hrs/week guaranteed)

START DATE: Ideally by January 8, 2024

COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hr gross (on payroll) DOE


  • Experience caring for school age children and working knowledge of age-appropriate activities
  • Longevity in past positions and can make at least a 1 year commitment; ideally want someone to stay with them for years to come
  • Fully up to date on vaccinations, including Covid
  • Strong driving record is a MUST (family can provide nanny with a car while on duty)

The ideal candidate is a safe driver, proactive, bubbly and is a good role model! You should be able to assist with homework, be someone who can encourage healthy eating habits and physical activity, and have an upbeat personality. Duties include school pick up, tag teaming with mom to drive them to activities, homework help, keeping the boys on task and entertained, tidying up, and assisting mom with the evening routine (dinner and bath time).
