Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant Needed for Busy Family in sunny Santa Monica! These dual-working parents have 3 kiddos (3, 4 + 6 years), and you will work alongside their au pair – who will be your right hand. General duties include managing the children’s calendars, keeping up with their routines, scheduling appointments, school drop off and pick up, driving to extracurriculars, meal planning/prep (simple meals), and planning fun activities and outings. While the children are at school and the au pair is managing pick ups, you will handle assistant tasks: running errands (think grocery shopping, store returns, post office, dry cleaning, etc.), managing household vendors, keeping a running inventory of household items + children’s things, tackling household organization, managing children’s wardrobes, collaborating with au pair to get tasks completed (think of her as your right hand), kid laundry, and light housekeeping pertaining to the kids. If you are open to travel with the family (typically 2-3x a year, 1 week at a time), that would be a plus, but not required.
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: The general schedule is Monday-Thursday from 8am-7pm (44 hours weekly) + date nights during the week.
COMPENSATION: Rate is $30-40/hr gross DOE (on payroll).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Tech Savvy – must be familiar with google calendar
- Swimming – Please ONLY apply if you are a strong swimmer and happy to supervise kids in the water.
- Must be dog friendly!
- Covid vaccine + boosters is a MUST (children, parents + co-nanny all vaccinated)
- Annual flu shot is a MUST
