Loving family in Miracle Mile is looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and nurturing PART TIME nanny to care for their adorable baby boy (soon to be 8 months old). These first-time parents and incredibly KIND returning clients are looking for a pro when it comes to establishing and maintaining a schedule, managing feedings and preparing/washing bottles, knowing when it’s time to move up in diapers, drop a nap, or introduce purees and solids. If you’re a seasoned nanny who comes equipped with various soothing techniques, wants to dote on their baby like your own, and can ensure the nursery is stocked with necessary items, then this is your family!
LOCATION: Miracle Mile, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: The general schedule is T/W/TH 8am-5pm. The family can guarantee 27-30 hrs/week but flexibility is KEY! Please note that mom’s work schedule fluctuates slightly & when dad travels one week per month they’d need the nanny to help mom during that time (35 hrs guaranteed during those weeks). When BOTH mom and dad are away on travel (approx. once every few months) they can guarantee 20 hrs that week.
COMPENSATION: $30-35/hr gross (on payroll)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ Years Experience caring for babies and toddlers
- Longevity in past positions (they’re truly looking for someone DEPENDABLE and committed to staying with them for years to come!)
- COVID vaccine + booster and annual flu shot
- Bonus if you have a Childhood Development Background and/or you speak Russian or Spanish, but NOT required
- 1-Year Commitment Required (Please do not apply if unable to)
The ideal candidate is reliable and punctual, safety conscious, has a warm, gentle, nurturing and easygoing presence, and most importantly, LOVES working with babies! You should have a strong working knowledge and understanding of developmental milestones as the family will look to you for guidance and support as their baby grows. Other household duties include: tidying kitchen (washing and putting dishes away) and the nursery, organizing, cleaning toys, and doing kids laundry as time permits. When the family travels, they would love someone to help that week with grocery shopping, family meal prep, preparing for their arrival, and other general family assistance tasks.
