Sweetest Dual-Working parents in Culver City with 2 kids (5 + 7) are seeking a highly organized, efficient, and proactive Family Assistant – starting NOW! In this role you’ll be responsible for managing a wide variety of tasks that keep their household running smoothly and ensure that their kids and beloved dog are happy and well taken care of. Some of your key responsibilities will include picking up the kids from school, coordinating after-school activities, overseeing the early evening routine, and end of day clean up and loading/unloading the dishwasher (getting the kids to help would be GREAT!). You’ll also be in charge of the kids’ laundry, changing their bed linens, making dinner for them, packing their lunches and snacks, and keeping all things “kid” organized. This will involve going through their closets and drawers quarterly, taking on various organizational projects throughout the year, putting together photo albums of the kids, and researching summer camps, extracurriculars, and travel opportunities for the family. You will be responsible for managing the household’s day-to-day operations, keeping a running inventory of household items, running errands, grocery shopping, sorting mail, overseeing vehicle maintenance, helping plan for birthday parties, purchasing/wrapping gifts, cancelling or transferring services (think wifi, subscriptions, etc), managing health insurance claims, scanning documents, and scheduling appointments (vet, hairstylist, dentist, and doctor, etc.).
LOCATION: Culver City (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri from 2:00pm – 7:30pm. Family is willing to guarantee 35 hours weekly to have flexibility for an earlier start and full days during school breaks, summer months, and sick days.
COMPENSATION: $35/hr gross
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong + Spotless Driving Record
- Dog friendly – they have an adorable lab
- Comfortable swimming with kids – they have a fenced in pool!
- Covid Conscious; Covid vaccine preferred, not required (kids and parents are vaxxed + boosted)
