ATTN Santa Barbara Nannies! We have an AMAZING new position in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA! This wonderful returning couple has an adorable 4-month-old son and looking for a full time nanny now that their son has outgrown their newborn care specialist, hired by yours truly! This is a LIVE-OUT role for candidates LOCAL to the area! When traveling to mom’s horse shows or joining them for their ski trips (about 1x a month), you will have private accommodations as well. This role is entirely child-focused so you will be responsible for maintaining the baby’s schedule, engaging him in play (i.e. reading books, singing songs, tummy time, etc.), preparing his meals, cleaning his bottles and the pump parts, making sure his room/play areas are clean and organized, and baby’s laundry. The family travels frequently for horse shows in Palm Springs/OC and seasonal skiing trips up in Mammoth Mountain so you should be up for plenty of travel (usually 4 days-1 week at a time) and be skilled in packing/unpacking for your nanny kiddo!
LOCATION: Santa Barbara, CA
SCHEDULE: IDEALLY you will work 5-6 days/week (50-60 hours on average). General working hours are from 8am-6pm but must be flexible to work occasional weekends, overnight shifts or later hours for date nights, etc.
START DATE: January 2024
COMPENSATION: $80-$100k+ (including applicable OT) + based on experience/qualifications (on payroll)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of ages and stages of infants through early childhood; 5+ years preferred!
- Must Know How to Swim (family has a pool)
- Valid Passport + Experience Traveling w/Families
- Glowing References From Former Employers
- MUST be Willing to Work Long 10-hour Days
- Must be Looking for a Long-Term Commitment (1+ Years)
