Calling all baby whisperers! Busy, dual-career couple in Mar Vista  is searching for a highly experienced, family-oriented full-time nanny for their adorable 3 month old baby boy! Their dream candidate has a warm, loving and gentle approach and is confident in her infant/childhood development knowledge for milestones and age appropriate activities. These parents will be looking to you for your guidance and advice about everything from feedings, sleep routines, parenting styles, etc., making you a true partner in parenting with them!

LOCATION: Mar Vista, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

COMPENSATION: $33-$35 Gross (Depending on Experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years experience caring for infants and must love working with babies!
• Comfortable with mom working from home; her maternity leave ends in November
• Fully up to date on vaccines including annual Flu shot, MMR, Tdap + Covid vaccine
• Dog friendly only please! They have a small beagle jack russel mix

Duties include full childcare and focusing on his overall growth and development! You will responsible for establishing and maintaining a schedule, managing feedings and preparing/washing bottles, knowing when it’s time to move up in diapers or drop a nap, being well versed at introducing purees and solids, stocking the nursery with necessary items, engaging with the baby, driving to and from baby classes when he’s a little older and general household assistance during down time. The ideal candidate is reliable and punctual, safety conscious, has a warm, gentle, nurturing and easygoing presence, and most importantly, LOVES working with babies! You should have a strong working knowledge and understanding of developmental milestones as the family will look to you for guidance and support as the baby grows.
