This warm and welcoming family is seeking a proactive and thoughtful Nanny/Family Assistant to join their household and support their growing family! They have a sweet and curious 2-year-old boy who attends daycare, with a second baby due in December 2025. The position will begin as a blend of childcare and household support, evolving naturally as the family’s needs grow.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Dad handling the morning daycare drop-off and the nanny managing the afternoon pick-up, making driving an essential part of the role. During the day, the nanny will assist Mom at home with light household tasks such as meal prep, family laundry, and running errands, especially when Mom is spending time with the new baby. In the afternoons, once the older child is home, the focus will shift to engaging playtime and activities, helping him unwind and enjoy his afternoons in a nurturing and fun environment.
Flexibility to travel would be a major plus, as the family spends about 2–3 months each year in England, often for extended stays of a month at a time. A valid passport and interest in joining them abroad are ideal.
LOCATION: Mar Vista Hills, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM + 4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday (as needed)
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr Gross DOE
