Fun, Enthusiastic + Playful Nanny OR Manny NEEDED for 2 Kids, ages 3(G) and 5(B) – turning 4 and 6 in November), in Santa Monica! Family is open to both live-in and live-out candidates (their last nanny lived-in). This is 2-dad family (must be LGBTQ+ friendly!) and a split household, and they both have very demanding careers, so they are looking for reliable parenting support and an incredible companion for their kids who is full of life! The parents live one block from each other, which makes it easy to bounce from house to house based on custody schedules, and while newly divorced, they remain friends and are committed to being great co-parents. Duties will include school pick up (nanny car provided), planning fun activities/outings for the kids each afternoon (think nature walks, scavenger hunts, science experiments, visiting different parks, etc), engaging in lots of play, preparing dinner for the kids, assisting with bath time and getting them ready for bed. Additional tasks include light housekeeping pertaining to the kids activities (they do have a housekeeper for deep cleaning), kid laundry, and keeping their rooms and play areas neat and tidy.
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA
SCHEDULE: Typical schedule is Sun 7am-7pm + Mon-Thur 2pm-7pm (you will work anywhere from 25-40 hours weekly – pay is based on 40 hours, but if you work less, you still earn the full week’s pay.)
RATE: $1,000/week (live-in); $1,300/week (live-out) – (gross, on payroll) **Listed weekly pay is guaranteed each week**
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dog friendly; they have a sweet 14-yr-old lab mix (no allergies please!)
- Swimming Required – pool at the house
- Open to travel a plus, but not required
- Covid + Flu vaccines preferred, but not required
These children are super sweet, cute, and funny, and they LOVE to have fun. They respond incredibly well to warm, loving, bubbly personalities, and need a nanny who is willing to get down on the floor and play with them.
