Loving + Dedicated Nanny Needed for 3 Kids in the Pacific Palisades! Their children are 6, 11 + 14 years old. They have had an incredible nanny for the last 12 years, and are looking for an equally exceptional nanny to step in! You will help out with all three children, but your main focus will be their 6 year old daughter- she is the biggest personality in the house and SO fun to be around, she is independent but also very social, loves to draw and create! Their 11 year old daughter is a very serious gymnast, she competed on a national level and goes to the gym 6 days/week to train- she needs a lot of shuttling back and forth. Both of the girls also love to ride horses (just like mom)! Their eldest, 14 year old boy is very sweet and kind and has level one autism- he is very polite and respectful and occasionally needs a bit of redirection. You will divide and conquer with mom to make sure the kids get to the places they need to be after school.
Mom and all of the kids are bilingual in Russian and English, and their last nanny spoke to the kids in Russian – they would LOVE for their next nanny to also speak Russian and be familiar with their culture- this is not a requirement though. Additionally, they abide by certain hygiene standards, everyone takes their shoes off and washes their hands upon entering the home- and they need their nanny to have similar standards (or at least be open to learning).
LOCATION: Pacific Palisades, CA (Greater Los Angeles)
SCHEDULE: Base schedule is Monday-Friday 2:30PM-7:30PM, with flexibility to stay later or work occasional weekends (if you need 40 hours/week, they will add extra hours to the base schedule).
RATE: $30-$35/hr Gross
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluent in Russian is IDEAL
- Pet Friendly (they have a dog in the home)
- Looking for a Long-Term Commitment
- Valid Passport + Travel Ready (international + domestic)
- Confident Driver with a Safe Vehicle
- Ability to Provide Overnight Coverage When Needed
Your role will involve handling school pick up, driving the children to their various after school activities (dividing and conquering with mom to get everyone to where they need to be), meal prep (whether that is grocery shopping or chopping veggies, or occasionally cooking a full meal- any support here is appreciated, mom loves to cook- but can use an extra set of hands!)! IF you require full-time hours, you will have additional tasks, like running errands, organizational projects, etc. They have a pool at the house and the kids LOVE to swim, and they also have a veggie garden and love to incorporate fresh veggies into their meals. This is a “media/screen free” household for the kids, they want the kids to be able to find physical activities and entertainment to develop their body and mind- and they need their nanny to be on the same page with this.
