An incredible opportunity awaits an enthusiastic, warm, and proactive Nanny/Family Assistant to become a valued part of a wonderful family in LA’s Miracle Mile! Mom is navigating a transition as the parents are separating, and she is looking for an extra set of hands to foster stability, ease, and joy for her two amazing children—a fun-loving 4.5-year-old boy and a bright 6.5-year-old girl. The younger child has speech apraxia and attends various therapies throughout the week, so an ideal candidate will be engaged, encouraging, and able to reinforce speech exercises in a natural and playful way. This is a split-shift schedule covering mornings and afternoons into early evening. In the mornings, the nanny will assist in getting the kids ready for school. Mom handles drop-off for the older child at 8 AM, while the nanny takes the younger child to school at 9 AM. Some days will involve taking him to mid-morning appointments or running errands (such as grocery shopping), followed by a break before afternoon duties begin. School pickups start as early as 2 PM, and afternoons/evenings will involve engaging the children in creative, enriching activities and imaginative play, assisting with meal prep and dinner cleanup, and supporting evening routines. Mom prefers to handle bedtime but would appreciate help with tidying up after the day and preparing for the next morning (e.g., loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping down counters, packing lunches, ensuring backpacks are ready, handling kid laundry, etc.). A housekeeper comes weekly for deep cleaning, but the nanny will be responsible for day-to-day upkeep.
