A bright, energetic, and highly organized Family Assistant is needed for a busy Malibu family with three active kids (ages 4, 9, and 12)! This hands-on stay-at-home mom is looking for a dependable partner to help keep things running smoothly as she manages school pick-ups, after-school activities, and playdates. You’ll work closely with her each day, assisting with everything from school runs and activities to household organization and errands. Every day will bring new tasks, and you’ll be part of a joyful, fun household in beautiful Malibu. The family needs someone who can jump in wherever necessary—whether that’s grocery shopping, running errands, tidying up, handling holiday cards, gift shopping and wrapping, assisting with event coordination, organizing closets and drawers, or helping with laundry and dishes. In addition to these household responsibilities, you’ll occasionally help with childcare, engaging the kids in creative play, crafts, scavenger hunts, and outdoor activities. This is an active household, so you should be ready to keep up with the kids’ high-energy lifestyles, including swimming at the beach or in their pool, going for hikes, or playing tag. You should also be comfortable providing light homework help and creating a positive, fun, and engaging environment for the children.
LOCATION: Malibu, CA (near Pepperdine)
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 30-40 hours a week (family is flexible on hours based on candidates needs)
- Mix of morning shifts (ie 8am-4pm) and afternoon shifts (ie 11am-7pm) based on the needs of the week
- Morning shifts will be more home/assistant focused
- Afternoon shifts will be more childcare focused, including attending after school activities with mom/kids
- Occasional Saturday support would be a HUGE plus!
RATE: $35-40/hr gross DOE
