These busy, dual-working parents are seeking a proactive, engaging, and organized caregiver for their two children—a 6-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. They’re looking for someone who can seamlessly balance childcare, school pick-ups, and extracurricular drop-offs while also handling light household management to keep things running smoothly. Your primary focus will be their 4-year-old son, who thrives with structure and movement. He’s full of energy and needs a caregiver who can keep up, channel his enthusiasm productively, and provide both discipline and creative outlets. Meanwhile, their 6-year-old daughter is a school-loving, after-school-program enthusiast who joins in later in the day. Beyond childcare, the family is looking for someone who can contribute to the household in meaningful ways—running errands, keeping toys and play areas organized, managing grocery shopping, and handling kid-related laundry. They have a housekeeper for deep cleaning, but they need someone who can stay on top of day-to-day upkeep.

Their ideal candidate is skilled at providing structure and discipline while maintaining a fun and engaging environment. You should be enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced in working with high-energy young boys. Creativity and resourcefulness in planning activities are essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and good common sense. The right person will be comfortable balancing both childcare and light household tasks. They are hoping to enroll their son in a Spanish immersion school, so Spanish-speaking skills would be a plus, but are not required! The family is also members of a yacht club with a pool—if you enjoy swimming, this could be a fun activity to do with the kids (though it’s not required). Occasional light travel may be involved, but it’s not a requirement. If you’re looking for a rewarding role with a great family, you don’t want to miss out on this great opportunity – apply today!
