A warm, creative family in Porter Ranch is seeking a joyful, engaging part-time nanny to spend mornings with their 2.5-year-old daughter. This role focuses on connection, creativity, and play, and is ideal for someone who genuinely loves early childhood and creating enriching, thoughtful days. The toddler is bright, curious, and emotionally expressive. She thrives with caregivers who are calm, kind, and respectful, and whose guidance is rooted in empathy and clear, gentle boundaries. The family is building a dedicated art and activity space and would love to work with a nanny who enjoys Montessori-inspired activities, sensory play, creative projects, and hands-on learning. This is a collaborative household, parents are excited to share ideas and support a nanny who brings creativity and initiative to each day.
The family also has a newborn. Mom will be the primary caregiver, though there may be occasional moments when brief assistance is needed (up to 30 minutes) if Mom steps away for a work call. The nanny’s primary responsibility will remain caring for the toddler.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Morning care for a 2.5-year-old toddler
- Planning and engaging in age-appropriate, creative, and play-based activities
- Supporting emotional regulation using gentle guidance
- Light tidying related to the child and activities, general household assistance
LOCATION: Porter Ranch, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–12:30 PM
RATE: $30–$35/hour, DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with toddlers and early childhood development
- Warm, patient, and emotionally attuned caregiving style
- Comfortable working in a work-from-home household
- Creative, resourceful, and confident planning activities
- Reliable, communicative, and collaborative
- Early education background a plus
- Comfortable around cats
