Part-Time Support Needed for Marvelous Manhattan Beach Family of 4! This is a busy family and it’s a fast-paced household – efficiency and follow through it of the utmost important, as is punctuality. This is the perfect job for those who like to stay busy, and you’ll be surprised by how quickly the day flies by! They have 2 sweet, active, athletic and energetic boys (ages 12 and 15) who will instantly have you wrapped around their finger – and we mean this in the best way possible! You will primarily be responsible for the pre-teen, who is funny, artistic, and has the maturity of an adult, giving him the innate ability to connect well with anyone! Their older son (diagnosed with ADD and dyslexia) is at boarding school during the school year, you’ll get to know him when he’s home this summer. Whether they’re skating, surfing or playing football and soccer, they need a nanny who can keep up with their active lifestyle and match their super FUN energy level!
LOCATION: Manhattan Beach, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:30pm (hours are very flexible on Fridays).
COMPENSATION: $30-35/hr gross, depending on experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ Years of Household Experience
- Longevity in past positions (they’re truly looking for someone DEPENDABLE and committed to staying with them for years to come!)
- Dog and cat friendly (family has 2 labs and a sweet cat)
- Clean driving record is a MUST!
- Covid vaccine NOT required
From 2:30pm-5pm, you will focus on keeping everything around the house clean, tidy and organized. Think of it as taking care of the home as if it was your own (minus deep cleaning); maintaining spotless counter tops, running errands, pet care (feeding and scheduling/taking them to vet appts), grocery shopping, family laundry (washing, folding, and putting away clothes) and whatever else needs to be done to keep the house running smoothly! At 5pm you’ll pick their son up, drive him to after-school activities, and keep him actively engaged (no electronics!!) by encouraging reading, playing interactive games and outdoor activities! Their ideal candidate has a warm, cheerful personality, is self directed and willing to pitch in when needed! They are hoping to have someone in the role within the next few weeks, so apply NOW!
