Calling ALL Nannies Seeking ROTA Positions!! Make a FT salary and work only 26 weeks of the year with our Fantastic Return Clients, located in Houston, TX! The family is open to non-local candidates, but you MUST be willing to relocate to the area – they will not be flying people in/out for each shift. You will work a schedule of 2 weeks ON/2 weeks OFF, averaging 80 hours a week (sometimes more, sometimes less) caring for their 2-year-old! You can live-in during your 2-weeks if preferred (you will have your own private room + bathroom, and a nanny car to use), but if you choose to live-out, please just be open to overnights during the shift. Target annual salary is $65K + Health Insurance!!
The average day starts at 8 am, and the end time will vary based on their schedules – flexibility is KEY! Duties will include planning and preparing healthy and organic meals for the child + simple dinners a few times a week for mom and dad (a passion for healthy cooking is a must!), planning and engaging in age-appropriate play, lessons, activities, and outings, meeting/exceeding developmental milestones, running errands, grocery shopping, baby laundry, and light housekeeping pertaining to the child. Their son is enrolled in a Montessori school, so familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is strongly preferred, but not required! While their son is at school you will tackle various family assistant tasks such as dropping off/picking up dry cleaning, taking their cars to be cleaned/detailed, meal planning + prep, keeping track of inventory and ensuring they stay stocked on household items, etc!
The ideal candidate is calm, creative, professional, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, discreet (willing to sign NDA), knows how to establish/maintain professional boundaries, is water safe (they have a shallow pool) and dog friendly. If you have a background in education or child development, or speak another language (this includes ASL), you are encouraged to apply, but neither are required. Family has a home in Kentucky (on a horse farm – please don’t be allergic!) where they spend 2-4 weeks at a time, and you will live-in with them during this time. They also travel internationally, so a valid passport or ability to get one is a must! Lastly, all candidates must be vaccinated (Tdap, MMR + annual flu shot); Covid vaccine preferred but NOT required.
