First-time parents in Westwood are seeking an experienced, nurturing temporary full-time nanny to care for their delightful 9-month-old daughter. This position will begin August 24th and continue through October 9th, with the possibility of an extension depending on mom’s work schedule. Their little one is bottle-fed, enjoys solids, and thrives on interactive, engaging play. The family follows a no screen time philosophy and would love a nanny who enjoys reading books, singing songs, having dance parties, exploring age-appropriate developmental activities, and introducing baby sign language. Mom will primarily be working from home, so they’re looking for someone who can confidently take the lead with childcare while maintaining a collaborative and respectful working relationship. Additional responsibilities include preparing bottles and meals for the baby, maintaining the nursery and play areas, child-related laundry, and keeping the baby’s spaces organized and tidy.
LOCATION: Westwood, CA (Los Angeles)
START DATE: August 24th
SCHEDULE: Temporary Full-Time (38 hours/week)
- Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
COMPENSATION: $35-40/hour gross DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive recent infant and toddler nanny experience
- Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate activities
- Calm, patient, loving, and genuinely nurturing demeanor
- Exceptionally trustworthy, safety-conscious, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a home with a parent working remotely
- Fully vaccinated, including Tdap, MMR, annual influenza vaccine, and initial COVID-19 vaccination series (additional boosters preferred)
