Fabulous first-time parents in Los Feliz are seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for their baby beginning in mid-February, when their baby will be approximately 4 months old. Both parents work full-time in demanding roles and value a collaborative, respectful relationship built on trust and open communication.This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who truly loves infant care, is confident with routines and development, and enjoys getting out of the house for enriching activities. The family is ideally seeking a commitment of at least six months, with the potential to extend if the fit is strong.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Full infant care, including feeding, diapering, naps, and play
- Supporting a consistent nap and feeding schedule
- Age-appropriate developmental engagement and enrichment
- Taking the baby to the park, music class, and swim class
- Introduction of solids when developmentally appropriate
- Cleaning bottles and baby-related items
- Baby laundry and light household tidying (dishes, folding, wiping counters)
- Keeping common areas neat as related to daily care, general household assistance
LOCATION: Los Feliz, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (parents work East Coast hours) with flexbility to do a date night or come on the weekend with advanced notice
- Openness to occasional overnight care and limited travel is a plus
RATE: $30–$35/hour, DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive infant experience;
- Strong knowledge of infant development and routines
- Comfortable driving to activities
- Proactive, engaging, and comfortable getting out of the house
- Comfortable working in a home where both parents work from
- Up to date on Tdap and MMR
- Annual flu vaccine strongly preferred and at least one round of COVID vaccination preferred
