Wonderful first-time parents are seeking a fun, reliable part-time temporary nanny to care for their sweet one-year-old son. This is an ideal role for a nanny looking for a short-term commitment with a fantastic family and an easygoing, happy toddler. Dad’s hockey season wraps in the spring, and the family will be returning to Canada at the end of May, making this a perfect temp opportunity. Mom works from home and is looking for an engaging caregiver who can take the lead during the day, playing, nurturing, and supporting her son’s routine while also helping with light household tasks during nap time.

DUTIES:

• Provide attentive, loving care for a one-year-old boy

• Engage in age-appropriate play and activities

• Support daily routine, including morning nap (approx. 9:00–10:30 AM)

• Light housekeeping during nap time

• Light meal prep

• Maintain open communication with parents

• General child-related assistance

LOCATION: Redondo Beach, CA

DATES: ASAP-end of April 2026, with the possibility to extend through the end of May, will know for sure in March

SCHEDULE: Mondays & Wednesdays, Thursdays 8:30 AM ~2:00 PM, with flexibility for an occasional date night. If you only want to work on Monday and Wednesday, that is fine too.

COMPENSATION: $30–$35/hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience caring for toddlers

• Comfortable working in a work-from-home environment

• Comfortable around dogsm they have 2 medium sized ones

• Up-to-date TDAP and MMR

• Reliable, playful, and nurturing

• Strong communication skills
