Weekend Temp Nanny Needed ASAP Through the End of December 2023 for Almost 3 Year Old Little Boy! The family is currently located in Los Feliz, but they will be moving to a ranch in Santa Ynez around August 2023. While they are still in Los Feliz, you will commute to and from work (Friday/Saturday/Sunday), however, when the move to Santa Ynez the role will switch to live-in during your shift (seeing as Santa Ynez is 2hrs away). Their exact move date is still to be determined, so please be flexible!
LOCATION: Los Feliz + Santa Ynez
SCHEDULE: Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 11AM-7PM or 12PM-8PM (with flexibility to stay later/work additional hours when the parents have evening plans).
COMPENSATION: $35/hour gross ($500/day rate when you live-in during your shift)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable with the commute to Los Feliz AND comfortable living in for your weekend shift in Santa Ynez from August-December
- GREAT toddler experience
- Animal Friendly (they have 2 cats, 2 older dogs, 2 outdoor rabbits + 2 beehives)
- Strong Swimmer (pool in the backyard)
- Great Team Player with Experience Working in a Staffed House
Their son LOVES to be outdoors and is an energetic + playful little guy! He loves to sing along to Elton John songs, he memorizes books that are read to him and will pretend to read them back to you and he really loves to do activities and art projects (especially outdoor activities). He warms up to his caregivers pretty quickly, and is such a loving child. They want a weekend nanny who will be excited to engage with him on his level, will plan fun things for them to do, will sing with him, be playful and keep a very close eye on him. Safety is a top priority for them, he is pretty fast so she needs a watchful eye on him to ensure his safety. He is also slightly behind on his speech and can get a little frustrated when he feels misunderstood, so he needs someone who is very mindful and patient and will help him work through any big emotions he may feel. Your other duties will involve preparing his meals + snacks throughout the day, helping with his daily routine (nap schedule, etc), ensuring his room and other areas stay tidy, assisting with potty training and whatever else is needed!
