A Wonderful Family in the Hollywood Hills is looking for an Exceptional Full-Time Family Assistant/Nanny with great energy and a “get-in-the-mix” attitude. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who loves working with older kids and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative household. You’ll support two awesome children, ages 11 and 12.5, and play a key role in keeping the home running smoothly.
Day-to-day responsibilities include school drop-offs and pick-ups, managing the children’s schedules, driving to and from activities, meal planning and preparation, running occasional errands related to the home and kids (mailbox pickup, dry cleaning, etc.) maintaining organization throughout the home, point of contact w pool guy, house cleaner, landscaper, water delivery, etc.— seamlessly and with total discretion.
This role centers on preparing simple, healthy, organic family meals using whole ingredients (nothing overly complicated). You’ll plan menus, shop for groceries, and prep dinners. A typical day might include morning drop-offs, running errands, and heading back to the house for meal prep, and then picking up the children from school.
Please note that Dad has the kids on a 7-day on / 7 day off rotation, so during his “off” weeks, the role is reduced to the above-mentioned house manager/family-assistant duties. Dad works in the entertainment industry and occasionally travels, so overnight stays will be needed from time to time. Flexibility is absolutely key for success in this position!
LOCATION: Hollywood Hills, CA
START DATE: January 2026
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 6:30–9:00 AM (school runs) and 2:00–8:00 PM, must have flexibility for weekend coverage or later evenings as needed. 40 hours/week guaranteed.
COMPENSATION: $35–$40/hr DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional experience working with children
- Confident driver with a valid license and clean record
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate needs
- Professional, dependable, and discreet
- Calm, grounded energy with excellent judgment
- Flexible and collaborative “no-task-too-small” mindset
- Genuinely enjoys spending time with pre-teens and young teens
- Spanish-speaking preferred
- Confident and Creative in the kitchen
