A busy and determined single mom in Mar Vista is seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging temporary nanny to care for her delightful 1-year-old son. As she launches her growing business, she’s looking for someone who can step in and provide consistent, loving support during this exciting (and slightly hectic!) chapter. Her little one is curious, active, and at a fun stage of early development—making this a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who enjoys interactive play, nurturing routines, and watching milestones unfold.
LOCATION: Mar Vista, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: 3 days a week (Sunday, Monday + Thursday) from 9AM-5PM - some flexibility on the working hours is ideal
DURATION: 5-6 Month Initial Commitment (Possibility of Extending)
RATE: $35/hr Gross (on payroll)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Infant/Toddler Experience

Basic duties focus on safety, establishing routine, and supporting early development in a nurturing way. These include engaging in age-appropriate play (such as reading, singing, and simple interactive games), and helping encourage developmental milestones like walking and language skills. The nanny would also be responsible for feeding (snacks, and simple meals), cleaning up after the child, and maintaining a consistent nap schedule. Additional responsibilities often include diaper changes, keeping the child’s play areas tidy, and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Light child-related tasks—such as washing baby dishes, preparing meals, and tidying his room + play areas!
While grandma is part of the support system a few days each week, additional help is needed to keep things running smoothly and ensure her son continues to thrive in a caring and attentive environment. This role is expected to last through September, when preschool begins, though there is a possibility of extension depending on the final start date.
