A warm and welcoming family in Silverlake is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable Live-in Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) for a 3–4 month assignment beginning in mid-March. The role will focus on caring for their sweet 6-week-old baby boy. He enjoys bath time and tummy time without fuss and is developing beautifully – already holding his head up during tummy time. He does spit up a fair amount and requires a watchful, attentive caregiver who can confidently monitor him and provide thoughtful, proactive care!
This position follows a 24-hour shift schedule, 5–6 days per week, with no travel required. The family has previously worked with a postpartum doula whom they loved and has also received support from a grandmother, so they value collaboration and professionalism. They are looking for a specialist who brings both strong newborn expertise and a steady, reassuring presence to help guide them through the coming months.

Schedule: 3-4 month contract, 24/hr shifts, 5-6 days/week
Compensation: $40/hr
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as an NCS
- Experience working 24/hr Shifts
- Up to date on TDAP, MMR, annual FLU shot + COVID
- Team Player – Can Work Well With Family Members
While not required, a candidate who is open to preparing simple meals would be greatly appreciated. There are no pets in the home. All standard vaccinations are required, including TDAP, MMR, Flu, and Covid.
