An Australian family visiting Los Angeles is seeking a warm, experienced nanny to care for their delightful 5-month-old baby boy while mom works during their four-week stay near Mid-City from March 29th through April 25th. The position runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with the possibility of a few later evenings upon request. The primary focus will be caring for the baby—handling bottle feedings, diaper changes, nap routines, and keeping him happy and stimulated during his awake windows. Dad will be around for the first two to three weeks with the family’s adventurous 5-year-old son, often heading out for fun excursions around LA (including Disney trips), leaving the nanny to enjoy quality time with the baby!
LOCATION: Mid City (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: M-F 8:30AM-6:30PM (+ occasional later evenings)
DATES: March 29th – April 25th
COMPENSATION: $35/hr
REQUIREMENTS
- Recent Baby Experience
- Valid CPR Certification
- Up to Date on Vaccinations Including TDAP
- Safe Driver with a Reliable Vehicle
The family would love someone warm, friendly, and confident with infants who can step in as the baby’s primary daytime carer while also lending a helping hand with light household tasks such as meal prep and keeping shared spaces tidy. Occasionally, the nanny may spend time with the 5-year-old as well—think park outings and simple activities. Ideal candidates will have solid infant experience (bottle feeding is essential), be happy to jump in wherever needed, and preferably be CPR/First Aid certified. They are seeking someone who has their own car and is up-to-date vaccinations for infant care (including TDAP) would be a wonderful fit for this easygoing, appreciative family.
