A warm and easygoing family in Baldwin Hills is seeking a loving, experienced temporary nanny to support them during this special infant stage. This role is primarily focused on caring for their sweet 2-month-old baby, while their 2-year-old attends daycare from 8:30–4:30 each weekday. The position is starting ASAP and will continue until the baby’s daycare spot opens—as early as the end of March or as late as early May 2026, making it a great opportunity for a nanny who enjoys infant care and appreciates a clear, defined timeline.
The family is looking for someone available a minimum of three days per week, with flexibility around either half-days or full days. Their ideal setup would be 4 hours per day Monday–Friday or full days 2–3 days per week, and they’re happy to collaborate to create a consistent, set schedule that works well for everyone.
LOCATION: Baldwin Hills (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: They are open to 2-3 full days/week OR 5 half days/week (4 hrs a day)
DURATION: Through end of March or April – TBD
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr depending on experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Recent Newborn/Infant Experience
- Up to Date on Vaccinations (Including TDAP) + able to provide records
- Cat Friendly
The ideal nanny is fully up to date on vaccinations (records requested prior to meeting in person), nurturing, reliable, and confident caring for infants. The home also includes one very low-key cat who mostly keeps to herself. This is a wonderful short-term role for a nanny who loves babies, values flexibility, and is excited to be part of a calm, caring household during an important developmental stage.
