An incredible family of 4 in Pacific Palisades is looking for their next long-term nanny and true right hand! With two active boys (ages 10 and 5), this household is fun, energetic, chaotic at times, and always on the go. Both parents work full-time (mom runs her own company), and they’re searching for a nanny who can step in as a trusted partner to help keep everything running smoothly. The role is focused on hands-on childcare – school pick-ups, driving to sports practices (Anaheim once a week), homework help, dinner prep for the kids, bath time, and lots of play. The boys are active, smart, and athletic, and they need a nanny who can keep up with their energy while also providing structure, navigating sibling rivalries, and setting boundaries. When the kids are at school, the family would love support with errands (dry cleaning, groceries, etc.), organizing, and generally being mom’s go-to person. The family has a full-time housekeeper, so there are no housekeeping duties outside of kid-related tasks.
LOCATION: Pacific Palisades, CA (in the Highlands)
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Generally Mon-Fri 12/1pm – 7pm, with guaranteed 40 hours/week. Most hands-on care is 3–7pm. Flexibility is KEY – Occasional mornings, date nights, weekends, and overnights required.
COMPENSATION: $40–45/hr gross, DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional childcare experience with school-aged children
- Strong driving record; confident driving to sports in Anaheim and around Los Angeles (Nanny car provided – Ford Raptor)
- Dog-friendly – MUST be comfortable with large dogs as they have a sweet (but big!) Rottweiler
- Flexible, dependable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
- MUST be looking for a long-term commitment!
- Strong Swimmer – they have a pool at home
