A warm, thoughtful, and easygoing single father relocating from England to Silver Lake in July, is seeking an exceptional Full-Time, Private Educator/Nanny hybrid to care for and help guide the development and education of his two daughters, ages 4 and 5! This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, education-focused caregiver who is passionate about child-led learning, creativity, exploration, and fostering curiosity in young children outside of a traditional classroom setting. The girls are happy, funny, affectionate children who love arts and crafts, reading, animals, imaginative play, and outdoor adventures, and the family is hoping to find someone who can create an engaging, enriching, and emotionally supportive environment as they transition into this exciting new chapter. Responsibilities will include facilitating homeschool/pod-style learning and educational enrichment, planning creative and developmentally engaging activities, organizing outings and field trips, encouraging social and emotional development, preparing healthy meals and snacks, transporting the children to activities (using your personal vehicle – mileage reimbursed), managing the girls’ laundry and dishes, and maintaining their rooms/play areas. The father is still navigating curriculum details and would greatly value someone who can offer guidance, ideas, and support as they build out the girls’ educational approach. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys fostering learning through play, exploration, nature, creativity, and real-world experiences. Please note that the children are not vaccinated, so the family is looking for a caregiver who feels fully comfortable working within a household aligned with these preferences.
