A busy single-working mom is seeking a top-notch, professional Nanny/Family Assistant to care for her bright, sweet, outgoing, and independent 7-year-old daughter. The family is based in Nichols Canyon, Los Angeles, but this role requires significant travel, demanding extreme flexibility, an adventurous spirit, and the ability to travel on short notice. Flexibility is key for this job! Mom is an incredibly busy entertainment mogul and needs a reliable right hand for all things child-related. Responsibilities include preparing healthy, nutritious organic meals for the child, driving her to school and activities using a provided nanny car, coordinating playdates, planning arts and crafts projects, engaging in play, reading together, packing and unpacking for trips, planning activities while traveling, scheduling appointments, maintaining a clean and organized environment for the child, assisting with household organization projects, running errands, and coordinating household vendors as needed. The child is social, athletic, creative, and enjoys arts and crafts, reading, dance, and staying active. She is affectionate and sweet, but also spirited and strong-willed, so the family is looking for someone who can foster independence while maintaining structure, consistency, and a nurturing presence.
LOCATION: Nichols Canyon (Greater Los Angeles Area) + The World!
SCHEDULE: 5 days/week in LA, 6 days/week when traveling. Some days will be shorter while others are longer. The actual schedule will vary from day-to-day and week-to-week — do not apply unless you are fully flexible and adaptable.
COMPENSATION: $400/day when based in LA (x 5 days a week). When traveling, pay is $500/day (x 6 days a week).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Passport + Able to Travel at a Moment’s Notice
- Extensive Experience Traveling w/Families (International + Domestic)
- Spotless Driving Record
- Strong Swimmer + Willing to Swim with Child
- Comfortable Preparing Healthy and Organic Food for the Child
- Local to Los Angeles (Not Considering Non-Local Options)
- Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
