Lovely first-time mother is seeking a Part-Time Nanny or NCS looking to pick up minimal days shifts to help support her with her newborn baby boy (born via surrogate), who is just days old. This is a daytime-focused role providing hands-on newborn care, guidance, and gentle support as mom transitions into early parenthood. She has overnight support, and this position is intended to complement that care during daytime hours. The household is very supported by extended family, and mom will be at home. She appreciates a calm, reassuring presence who can help build confidence with newborn routines without being overly directive. The role will be split between two nearby homes (hers and her parents). Duties include full newborn care support such as feeding assistance, diapering, soothing, maintaining healthy sleep and feeding rhythms, bottle care and sterilization, baby laundry, nursery organization, and general infant-related tidying. Mom is also expecting a second child via surrogate in approximately 12–18 months, making this a potential long-term opportunity as their needs evolve.
LOCATION: Pasadena & Silver Lake, CA (must be comfortable working in both locations)
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Part-time, 2–4 hour shifts, 2–4 days per week (approximately 8–20 hours weekly). Preferred working window is 10:00–11:00 AM start time, with flexibility as needed.
COMPENSATION: $40-55/hr gross DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive newborn and infant care experience (Newborn Care Specialist strongly preferred)
- Current Tdap and flu vaccinations required
- Reliable, punctual, and highly communicative
- Comfortable working across two residences
- Pet-friendly (no cat allergies)
