Sweet First Time Parents in Santa Monica family are excited to welcome a loving, dependable nanny into their home to care for their sweet 4-month-old daughter! With mom returning to work and dad working from home, they are looking for a nurturing caregiver who can confidently take the lead during the day while creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment for their little one to thrive.
The schedule is two consecutive full days each week from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. While the family’s preference is Monday and Tuesday, they are happy to be flexible for the right fit, as long as the days are consecutive. Their primary focus is finding someone who genuinely enjoys caring for infants, understands developmental milestones, and will provide attentive, responsive care through plenty of interaction, cuddles, and age-appropriate activities.
Their little one is curious about the world around her and enjoys getting outside for a daily walk to take in her surroundings. She is currently going through a mild sleep regression and is primarily taking contact naps during the day, so the family is looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, and comfortable providing that extra level of support while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: 2 consecutive days a week (ideally Monday + Tuesday, but they’re open) from 8AM-5PM
RATE: $35/hr gross

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and committed to keeping accurate records of the baby’s daily routines using the Baby Connect app. They should be comfortable tracking feedings, naps, and developmental milestones while maintaining open and honest communication with the parents. This family values a true partnership with their nanny and is looking for someone who welcomes feedback, communicates proactively, and always prioritizes their daughter’s safety, happiness, and well-being. An engaging caregiver who genuinely enjoys interacting with infants—through play, conversation, and age-appropriate activities—is essential. In addition to providing exceptional childcare, the family would appreciate help with child-related household tasks, including washing bottles, tidying the baby’s play areas, handling the baby’s laundry, and keeping the kitchen clean after preparing bottles. They value someone with excellent hygiene habits who naturally prioritizes cleanliness, such as washing hands upon arriving each day and maintaining a tidy environment.
The family also shares their home with one very shy and gentle cat who mostly keeps to herself, so pet care is not expected. Their ideal nanny is CPR certified, up to date on standard vaccinations, dependable, and ready to jump into this role as soon as possible.
