We are looking for 8 enthusiastic, fun-loving, and responsible individuals to help make this upcoming High Holiday (Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur) synagogue event an unforgettable, joyful experience for the children!
The synagogue is hosting a holiday event for approximately 50 children. Attendance will vary by day, with groups typically divided into 2–3 rooms by age or activity:
- Ages 2–4: ~5–10 children
- Ages 5–10: ~20–30 children
- Ages 11–12: ~10 children
Childcare will take place in the synagogue’s social hall. The event team will provide a variety of activities, toys, and structured holiday programs. Staff will be asked to review the schedule in advance to confidently lead predetermined games and crafts.
- Location: West Los Angeles
- Requirement: Candidates must be available for all 3 days of the event.
Event Dates & Hours:
- Saturday, September 12th | 8:00 am – 1:30 pm (5.5 hours)
- Sunday, September 13th | 8:00 am – 1:30 pm (5.5 hours)
- Monday, September 21st | 8:00 am – 2:30 pm (6.5 hours)
Compensation
- Rate: $40.00 / hour
- Total anticipated compensation per nanny for completing the full 3-day event: $700.00
This is a wonderful opportunity for energetic, responsible providers who love creating a welcoming environment for kids. We are specifically looking for:
- Toddler Experts: Sitters with dedicated experience working with ages 2–3 to keep our youngest attendees safe and engaged.
- High-Energy Leaders: Outgoing, active, and sporty sitters who enjoy connecting with ages 5–12, leading group activities, and jumping into outdoor games and sports!
