Kind and busy entertainment family in West Hollywood is seeking an energetic, proactive, and flexible Full-Time House Manager to support their household and school-aged child. With an established team of backup sitters in place, the family is looking for a reliable, hands-on professional who can become their go-to person for both childcare and household management. Responsibilities will include school pickups and transportation to after-school activities, grocery shopping, simple child meal preparation, household organization, creating systems, running errands, and tackling projects that keep the home running smoothly. The child is creative, imaginative, and loves drawing, board games, and playful connection. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys building a meaningful relationship with a child while taking ownership of the many details that go into running a busy household.
LOCATION: West Hollywood, CA
START DATE: Flexible; ASAP preferred
SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours guaranteed per week. Flexibility is KEY, as occasional early mornings, weekend evenings, and full days when school is out or the child is home sick will be needed. The schedule will vary based on the parents’ professional commitments, and they will be able to provide a schedule 1-2 weeks in advance.
COMPENSATION: $40–45/hour gross, DOE.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ Years of relavent experience
- Comfortable using personal vehicle for work (mileage reimbursed)
- Comfortable navigating food allergies and preparing simple, allergy-conscious meals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage household tasks and projects.
- Proactive, resourceful, and capable of anticipating needs with minimal oversight.
- Flexible and dependable, with the ability to adapt to a changing schedule.
- Cat friendly – no allergies
- Opportunites for occasional international travel, through not required
The ideal candidate is a natural self-starter who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and follows through without waiting for direction. A warm, energetic, big-sister personality would be especially well suited to this family, as their child thrives with someone who is playful, encouraging, and genuinely engaged. Someone who enjoys meal planning and simple cooking, particularly vegetarian meals, would be a plus, though not required.
