One of our favorite families in Santa Monica is looking for an imaginative, engaging and flexible Nanny/Family Assistant who can problem solve and join them in managing their home and family life! This dual working entertainment couple are involved and hands-on parents to their sweet and musically talented 8 year old daughter and are hoping to find someone experienced + active who can seamlessly blend in to their busy lives. The ideal candidate for this role loves the variety of a family assistant position and is someone who has that combo of strong organizational talents and innate ability to multitask while also being able to connect and engage with their fun and confident school-age kiddo!

LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA (Greater Los Angeles)

SCHEDULE: The general schedule is Monday-Friday 11AM-6PM (35 Hours/Week)

COMPENSATION: $35/hr (gross, on payroll)

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Seasoned Experience working with school age children; ability to keep her fully engaged and active daily
  • Fully up to date on all primary vaccinations, including COVID and annual Flu shot

The beginning of your shift (from 11AM-2PM) will generally consist of Family Assistant work such as running errands, grocery shopping, laundry, family calendar planning, tackling home organizational projects, coordinating with household vendors for repairs/renovations, scheduling vet/grooming appointments, and anything else that gets thrown your way. Mid-afternoon you will pick their daughter up from school, drive her to any after-school activities/flute lessons or playdates, ensure that homework is completed, assist with snack/meal prep/cooking dinner and their evening routine. Their ideal nanny is outgoing, calm, easy going (not rigid/type A personality), responsible, friendly and is always eager to lend a helping hand.
