Wonderful, holistic family in Santa Monica with children ages 6 months, 3 and 5 seek an incredibly warm and experienced full-time nanny. You will care primarily for the two older children. Duties include: Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and playtime that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development, driving children to activities or playdates, (nanny car provided), preparing healthy and nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements, creating new and exciting healthy food ideas for the children, organizing bedroom toys, maintaining open communication with parents and other caregivers, participating in family travels and activities, swimming with the children and providing other activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and everything related to their safety and well being.
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 10 am-7 pm. Please be flexible and open to schedule changes, later nights, and weekends.
COMPENSATION: $35/hr, vacation, sick days, monthly health stipend.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of professional childcare experience
- Background on Montessori education-related approaches is preferred but not required.
- Fluent in English and additional languages is a plus.
- Passionate about holistic and child-led care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other caregivers.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- DBS check or U.S equivalent
- Valid Passport and ability to travel with the family
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to travel
