Smart, enthusiastic, and organized Nanny/Family Assistant NEEDED for wonderful family in Pacific Palisades with 2 boys (ages 4 + 8 years) and baby on the way! This is a fun, young and active family who are hoping to find someone who will become an extension of their family for years to come! Their nanny of 3 years (from WSN) is moving on as of June 30th, and they’re looking to onboard a nanny 1-2 weeks prior to overlap with her. The job duties will shift a bit once baby is born, and your primary role will be caring for baby (after baby nurse of 12 weeks departs) and household management/assistant tasks. Both parents have busy careers and therefore they are looking for a partner in parenting who can help them manage the household and all things kid-related. They need someone who can seamlessly switch between childcare and family assistant work – being able to intuitively see what is needed and proactively tackle it. If you love to binge “The Home Edit”, feel at peace in the Container Store, and you find joy in creating systems/lists – this is the job for you! Duties will include managing the family calendars, meal planning and prepping healthy meals, grocery shopping, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning up after meals, keeping the children’s rooms and play areas neat and tidy (they have a housekeeper for deep cleaning), managing the children’s wardrobes, doing the children’s laundry and providing general household assistance. Once baby is born your priority during the school day will be baby, and what you can attend to household wise. Afternoons will consist of coordinating school pick up, driving to extracurriculars, coordinating/supervising play dates, planning fun activities and outings, assisting with homework, playing outside and keeping the kids active (and off devices as much as possible), doing cooking and baking projects with the kids, and assisting with the evening routine.
LOCATION: Pacific Palisades, CA
START DATE: Early-Mid June; However, flexible to start sooner for the right fit.
SCHEDULE: Primarily Mon-Fri 9am-7pm (50 hours weekly), plus occasional evenings/overnights. Please be flexible to start earlier as needed (with advanced notice). Flexibility is KEY!
COMPENSATION: Target Annual Salary is $85-100K+ gross DOE
