Awesome Family in Silver Lake is looking for a Creative, Engaging, and Caring Nanny for their 8 Year Old Son! Their son gets out of school around 2:30 PM, but you will start your day at 1 PM at their house and will be responsible for preparing his after-school snack, taking the dogs on a walk, getting organized for the day (if you guys are doing an activity or craft, etc) and then you will do school pick up and spend the afternoon doing whatever fun activities you guys want (he loves to go to Target, do crafts/projects, make YouTube videos/Vlogs, watching movies, etc)! If he has any after-school activities you will transport him to and from, and help with homework whenever needed, but your primary goal is to be his playmate and keep him company! Their son has been wanting to get into guitar and piano- a MAJOR bonus if you are familiar with either instrument (or any instrument for that matter).
LOCATION: Silver Lake, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 1 PM-5 PM + occasional Saturday evenings (as needed, about 2x a month)
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr gross
REQUIREMENTS:
- School Age Experience is IDEAL!
- Safe Driver + Reliable Car
- Tech Savvy (can help make YouTube Videos)
- Up To Date on Vaccinations (Covid + Boosters)
- Pet Friendly – they have dogs and cat in the home!
- Strong Swimmer
This is a dual/split household and the parents have an amazing coparenting relationship and want the best for their son! Depending on the week, you will work at either house, they live close by. Their ideal nanny loves the school age group and will enjoy really diving into his world and doing activities with him! He loves to make Vlogs and YouTube videos and ideally you will help him with this and perhaps you might share a similar passion for it! If you speak a 2nd language and are open to teaching him, that is another huge perk, but not a requirement! They want their nanny to be involved and very interested in enriching their child life- he is an only child and thrives with one on one interaction and will LOVE having a buddy to hang out with!
