Full-Time Nanny/House Manager Needed in Oxnard (Ventura County) for busy and warm family of 4!! They have a fun + active 4 year old little boy and a helpful, kind 7 year old daughter who can’t wait to meet you! Your duties will involve handling family assistant/house manager tasks while they are in school (end times are at noon & 2:45pm), including but not limited to: cooking + meal prep (mostly for the children but on occasion for the whole family), scheduling appointments, planning fun + new activities for the kids, keeping the general living areas neat and tidy (they have a house keeper already), light cleaning pertaining to the children, grocery shopping, running to the dry cleaners, organizing the pantry, researching vendors for household repairs, and anything else that may pop up! Afternoon duties will primarily focus on childcare such as managing their schedules, supervising schoolwork, engaging in play, snack/meal prep and assisting with bedtime routine. Mom will handle school pick up most days, but you must be open to driving the children to activities or playdate when needed.
LOCATION: Oxnard, CA in Ventura County
SCHEDULE: Typical schedule is Monday to Friday 10am-6pm with flexibility for occasional date night with advanced notice
COMPENSATION: $35/hr (on payroll), Full Benefits Package (medical/dental/vision/life/LTD + monthly cell stipend)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience caring for school age children; knowledge of ages and stages of development
- Years of experience in a Hybrid Role: House Manager/FA/Nanny
- Dog friendly – no allergies please!
- Comfortable swimming (they have a community pool)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Dependable and punctual is a must – no exceptions!
