Wonderful Hollywood-based family is looking to hire a cheerful, engaging, proactive, and organized full-time nanny to join their family and care for their adorable toddler son (2) and infant daughter (5 months), starting ASAP! This role is roughly 80% nanny tasks and 20% mother’s helper duties; they are looking for someone who is energized and highly motivated to see the success of the whole family – whether caring for the kids or assisting with household tasks. Both parents work full-time (a hybrid schedule of at-home and office), so you should be comfortable with at least one of them around throughout the day. Don’t worry – they’ll be busy, leaving you plenty of space to shine! They’re seeking a self-starter who will keep their kiddos days filled with fun, engaging, and educational (age-appropriate) activities, encouraging their sense of wonder and exploration, and supporting both children in hitting developmental milestones – all while keeping on schedule (managing wake windows, feeding, naps, etc.). Fresh air and outdoor play are important to this family, so they’re hoping you’re excited to take go on many stroller walks, trips to the park, and little adventures to soak up the sunshine and socialize with other kiddos. During nap times or when one of the parents is hands on with the kids, you’ll shift into completing light household tasks, like meal/snack prep for family, washing/sanitizing bottles and toys, managing kids laundry (plus the parents’ as needed), tidying up their rooms and play areas, ensuring common spaces stay clean and organized, and planning/preparing future activities/projects to do with the kids.
LOCATION: Hollywood, CA
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: 40-45 hours weekly. General schedule is Mon-Fri 8/9am – 5/6pm, plus occasional date nights.
RATE: $35-40/hr gross DOE + Health Ins. Stipend!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of full-time experience working with ages 0-5
- Educational background preferred
- Recent experience working with 2 young children (within the last 5 years)
- Organized, timely and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones
- Vaccinations Required: Annual flu shot + Tdap (Covid initial series preferred)
