Awesome Return Clients are seeking an exceptional long-term nanny to care for their bright and curious 2-year-old son as they settle into life in Istanbul, Türkiye. After previously living in Los Angeles, the family has recently relocated and is excited to welcome a nurturing, highly experienced caregiver who is open to building a lasting relationship and embracing life in a new city. The position is live-out, with a private apartment provided close to the family home, making relocation to Istanbul straightforward and easy! The parents work directly with their nanny—creating a respectful, hands-on environment where collaboration and trust are key. The father is American, the mother is Turkish and fluent in English, and the household is fully English-speaking.
The role centers entirely on the care, development, and enrichment of their 26-month-old boy, who is currently their only child. This is a rare opportunity for a career nanny or early-childhood professional to focus exclusively on their child, with no cooking, cleaning, or driving required—those needs are fully covered by other household staff, including a cook, cleaners, and a driver. You will work alongside a stay-at-home mom and a dad who also works from the home, supporting the child’s daily routines, play, learning, and emotional development. A background in early childhood education or preschool teaching is strongly preferred, and the family is looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience, including work with high-net-worth families!
LOCATION: Istanbul, Turkiye
SCHEDULE: 8AM-6PM, 6 Days/Week (they are open to a 5 day work week as well, if needed)
COMPENSATION: $2,000-$2,400/Week (depending on if you are working 5 or 6 days per week)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ Years of Experience
- Comfortable Relocating to Istanbul (Apartment provided)
- Early Childhood Development Background/Knowledge
- Strong Communication Skills
- Experience working in a fully staffed household
- Experience working with HP/HNW families
- Longevity in past roles
You must love to travel and be willing to travel with the family for roughly four months of the year, with all travel expenses fully covered. Meals are provided when working in the family home.
