Lovely high-profile family in Bel Air and Westside Nannies return clients are seeking an exceptional, experienced Full-Time Live-In Nanny to care for their adorable, almost 3-year-old daughter! This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, nurturing, and highly capable nanny who loves toddlers and is looking for a long-term position with a kind, respectful family. This is a full-charge role, so the family is looking for someone confident, proactive, and comfortable taking the lead with their daughter’s daily care and routines. Their little girl is at such a fun age, and they would love someone who genuinely enjoys planning engaging activities, encouraging developmental milestones, and making each day fun and enriching! Their daughter attends preschool from 12–3 PM daily, allowing the nanny to enjoy a two-hour break to recharge during the day. The nanny will work collaboratively with the family’s Friday–Sunday nanny to ensure consistency in care, with both nannies willing to coordinate schedules, swap shifts, and provide coverage for one another as needed. The family offers wonderful live-in accommodations, including a private bedroom, bathroom, and access to a separate kitchen!
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Providing loving, attentive, full-time care for an almost 3-year-old girl
- Planning fun, creative, and developmentally appropriate activities, outings, and play
- Managing daily routines, including meals, naps, bathing, and bedtime
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Driving to and from preschool in a nanny vehicle provided by the family
- Handling the child’s laundry and keeping her bedroom and play areas organized
- Assisting with light household tidying and child-related tasks
- Keeping the monitor nearby overnight and attending to the child if she wakes
- Working collaboratively with the family’s weekend nanny and providing occasional coverage when mutually agreed upon
- Traveling with the family as needed
LOCATION: Bel Air, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday am- Friday am, 10- 12-hour days. Working hours are approximately 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with a two-hour break while the child is at preschool.
COMPENSATION: Target annual salary of $84,000, based on a $30/hour regular rate and $45/hour overtime rate, plus a health insurance stipend.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive professional toddler experience, ideally in a full-charge role
- Warm, nurturing, engaging, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Discreet, professional, and comfortable working in a high-profile/UHNW household
- Comfortable with five small dogs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Up-to-date Tdap and MMR vaccinations
- Passport-ready and willing to travel
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable collaborating with other household staff
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and strong professional references
