Loving and busy return clients in Mar Vista are seeking a warm, energetic, and experienced full-time split-shift nanny/family assistant to care for their two active and spirited boys, ages 6 and 7! These sweet and silly kiddos love to laugh, stay busy, and try new activities (currently soccer and American Ninja Warrior class, but they’re always up for more!). Parents are looking for a true partner who will bring fun, structure, and calm energy to their household while helping keep everything running smoothly.
Duties
- Provide loving, attentive care for 2 boys (ages 6 & 7)
- Create engaging, playful activities and foster a nurturing environment
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily for the kids (and ideally the family as well) and follow the family’s gluten-free and dairy-free guidelines
- Tidy and maintain kids’ rooms and common areas, do children’s laundry, and help keep toys and clothes organized
- Drive children to/from school, playdates, and extracurricular activities
- Feed the family’s small dog
- Pitch in with general household support, such as grocery shopping and running errands
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday Split-shift hours: 6:30–9:00 AM and 1:00–6:00/7:00 PM (40–50+ hours per week) Flexibility to come on a weekend occasional, stay later for date nights or do a full day when kids are out of school.
COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hr On payroll
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional nanny experience (with multiples close in age, recent toddler experience required)
- Experience traveling as a nanny
- Clean driving record + confident driver
- Comfortable with pets (small dog in home)
- Spanish-speaking preferred
- Strong cooking skills, and enjoys cooking.
- Ability to travel occasionally
