Wonderful return clients in the Hollywood Hills are seeking an experienced, emotionally intelligent, and highly capable full-time Family Assistant to support their two school-aged children (a 7-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy). This role is perfect for someone who is mature, patient, smart, and confident managing both after-school routines and household needs.
Duties include:
- Begin day around 12, School pick-up around 2:30–3:00pm
- Driving to and from extracurriculars
- Homework supervision and academic support
- Running errands, family laundry, and light tidying
- Helping with the family’s labradoodle (pet care, occasional walks)
- Occasional medication administration (training provided)
- Reinforcing appropriate boundaries and managing behavior supportively
LOCATION: Hollywood HIlls (Laurel Canyon)
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 12-8 guaranteed 40 hours/week (schedule may vary weekly; afternoons and early evenings required) with flexibility to come on a weekend or stay later occasionlly.
RATE: $35–$40/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Dog friendly
- College education preferred
- Strong communicator
- Emotionally mature and confident setting boundaries
- Valid driver’s license and reliable car (mileage reimbursed)
- Spanish-speaking a plus, but not required
- Comfortable administering medication (with instruction)
- Patient, organized, and proactive
