An energetic family of four in Bel Air is looking for a full-time nanny to join their team and care for their two adventurous kids (6 year old girl and 2.5 year old boy). Their daughter is in school during the day, so the majority of your time will be spent with their toddler boy! They’re an active, screen-free household that values creativity, curiosity, and outdoor play – and they’d love a nanny who can dive right into the fun! Think swimming in the backyard pool, bouncing on the trampoline, building forts, hiking local trails, or pretending to be a “crocodile” under the jungle gym. The children thrive on hands-on play and learning, so you’ll spend your days exploring nature, inventing games, and keeping their minds and bodies engaged.
LOCATION: Bel Air, CA
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
COMPENSATION: $40/hr
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior Experience Working in a Preschool
- Experienced with preschool/toddler ages & child development
- A confident swimmer who’s happy to be in the pool daily
- Creative, energetic, and able to keep up with two busy little ones
- Comfortable outdoors (wildlife and all!)
- A safe driver with a reliable car & car seat know-how
- Comfortable carrying/lifting 50+ lbs as needed
- Skilled at preparing simple, healthy meals that meet the family’s dietary guidelines (no sugar, fried foods, refined carbs, fruit, etc.)
- Organized, reliable, and safety-minded
Daily Responsibilities:
- Keep the kids busy with engaging, screen-free play (indoor games, outdoor adventures, arts & crafts, swimming)
- School drop-off/pick-up for the older child
- Prep and pack healthy meals/snacks; keep up with oral hygiene routines (brushing & flossing after all snacks/meals, per dentists recommendation)
- Diapering & potty training support
- Light household help (dishes, toy clean-up, kid laundry, basic organizing)
- Pitch in with errands when needed
