A kind, down-to-earth family in Cheviot Hills is seeking a warm, experienced nanny to care for their 3-month-old boy/girl twins. Both parents are hands-on and hoping to find someone who can become a trusted, long-term partner in their parenting journey. They have a wonderful WSN nanny working from 8am-4pm, and are looking for someone equally as incredible to support them in the afternoon/evening hours, Mon-Fri 4pm-12am! You should have strong experience caring for multiples or two infants at once, who is deeply safety-conscious, reliable, and calm under pressure. Mom is on maternity leave until March, and dad is working from home. You will be responsible for managing feedings, diaper changes and daily routines, taking them for walks and park outings, assisting with bathing/bedtime routine and providing light housekeeping related to the children. For at least the next couple of months, the nanny will also help supervise all sleeping time (being present in the nursery), as one of the babies has Tracheomalacia and reflux. You will be in the nursery from bedtime until your shift ends at 12am – awake care required. Down the road, the family would also love someone who’s open to driving the kids to classes or activities using their own car (mileage reimbursed). They’re looking for someone who brings a calm, reassuring presence and keeps safety top of mind at all times.
LOCATION: Cheviot Hills, CA
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 4pm–12am
COMPENSATION: $35–40/hour gross DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of professional infant experience
- Experience with twins, multiples, or two infants at once (ie nanny share/daycare)
- Fully vaccinated (MMR, Tdap, flu, initial COVID series)
- Dog-friendly (1 small dog)
- Exceptionally reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
