Wonderful return clients in Brentwood (90049) are looking for a rockstar Family Assistant/Nanny who loves to cook, stay organized, and bring positive energy into a busy household! This is a unique role that blends cooking, family assistance, and childcare for their awesome 9-year-old son. Most days you’ll be focused on cooking and household support, but when their son is home—or when the family travels—you’ll shift into full-on childcare mode. If you’re kitchen-savvy (a must!), detail-oriented, and love being both the behind-the-scenes organizer and the fun, hands-on caregiver, this could be the perfect long-term fit.
LOCATION: Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA
START DATE: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday
- Monday: 2pm–8pm
- Tues–Thurs: 11am–8pm
- Friday: 11am–8pm OR 2pm–10/11pm (date night coverage)
- Occasional evenings/overnights required
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr Gross DOE (on payroll) + $300/month health insurance stipend!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must love cooking!
- Dog friendly
- Travel Ready! Flexible for 2–3 week trips (typically Aspen in summer/winter)
- Valid Passport; CLEAR & Global Entry will be provided
- Strong Swimmer (Beach vacations)
Household & Family Support
- Manage household vendors & appointments
- Maintaining vehicles as needed
- Going through mail & breaking down boxes
- Run errands & oversee organizational projects
- Book family travel & accommodations
- Coordinate with FT Housekeeper
- Provide light pet care for a friendly Aussie Mountain Doodle (brushing, scheduling grooming/vet visits, occasional walks)
Childcare
- Be warm, playful, and engaging with the child
- Provide transportation from school & to activities
Cooking & Meal Planning
- Prepare healthy family dinners Tues–Thurs (e.g. roasted veggies, salads, tacos, crockpot dishes)
- Kitchen clean up & prep for the next day’s breakfast
- Use meal-planning app on family iPad
- Grocery shopping on Tuesdays
- Friday = pizza & movie night (no cooking required)
