This warm and welcoming family, new to Santa Monica by way of North Carolina, is looking for an experienced, confident, and down-to-earth nanny to care for their two young children (ages 3 and 5). The family lives just steps from the beach and would love to find someone who enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and brings positive energy and structure to the home.
Nanny Responsibilities include:
- Preschool/school drop off + pick-up (using provided nanny car)
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities
- Nap/quiet time routines
- Prepping healthy snacks and simple meals for the kids
- Organizing toys, doing children’s laundry, tidying play areas
- Helping with light household tasks like loading/unloading the dishwasher and running errands (e.g., grocery runs with the kids)
The kids are in school for about 3-4 hours each day, during this time you will tackle family assistant duties. The Family Assistant duties involve supporting and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the household through a mix of practical and organizational tasks. This includes managing laundry, keeping the home stocked with essential supplies, and handling light tidying. You will assist the parents and children with scheduling and organizational needs, such as signing the kids up for activities and helping manage a running list of bill payments. The role also involves coordinating routine errands like car oil changes and providing very basic food preparation, such as cutting fruits and vegetables. Additionally, the assistant handles occasional personal assistant–style tasks, such as making calls or coordinating travel changes, and remains flexible in addressing miscellaneous needs as they arise.
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA
SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8:30AM-4:30PM (40 Hours/Wk)
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr gross DOE

- Experience working with 2 Young Children
- Strong Driving Record (nanny car provided)
- MUST live in LA
