First-time parents in Manhattan Beach are seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for their sweet 5.5-month-old daughter. DUTIES:
- Provide attentive, loving care for a 5.5-month-old baby girl.
- Maintain age-appropriate routines, including feeding, naps, diapering, and developmental play.
- Plan engaging activities that encourage growth and developmental milestones.
- Prepare bottles and simple meals as the child grows.
- Keep the nursery, play areas, bottles, and child’s belongings clean and organized.
- Children’s laundry and other child-related household tasks.
- Communicate openly with parents regarding the child’s day, milestones, and development.
LOCATION: Manhattan Beach, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Occasional evening or weekend flexibility is appreciated with advanced notice.
COMPENSATION: $35-$40/hr DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive baby experience
- Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate activities.
- Up-to-date on standard vaccinations, including Tdap and MMR, and willingness to get the annual Flu vaccine
- Comfortable working in a home with three small dogs (two Chihuahuas and one Italian Greyhound).
- Comfortable with occasional domestic travel.
- Background in early childhood education or child development is a plus.
