An energetic and outdoorsy family based in Oklahoma City, OK (with a second home in Del Mar, CA) is looking for a Full-Time Nanny to join their team and care for their sweet and active 2-year-old and 9-month-old! This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned career nanny who thrives in fast-paced, family-centered environments, loves travel, and enjoys working with a stay-at-home mom who is in and out throughout the day. The family is upbeat, joyful, and health-conscious – they eat clean, avoid screens, and prioritize fresh air, walks, and exploration. Their current nanny (whom they adore!) is moving on, and they’re hoping to find their next long-term match. The role includes typical child-related duties – managing naps, children’s laundry, age-appropriate play, and supporting mom with light meal prep. The ideal candidate will be confident caring for two young children, comfortable being on the go, and great at keeping little ones engaged and stimulated. The family has two German Shepherds and a cat, so being pet-friendly and allergy-free is essential. Travel is a big part of their lifestyle – they’re gone about 50% of weekends and spend 3-4 months annually in California (Del Mar), with occasional visits to Aspen and New York. While weekend travel is almost always optional, the opportunity is there for someone who loves adventure! They’re open to meeting candidates from all over the U.S. – but you MUST be willing to relocate to Oklahoma City (and be live-out) as your home base! When working from Del Mar (3-4 months of the year) and when traveling, you will a private room + bathroom.
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK & Del Mar, CA
START DATE: Flexible for the right fit — aiming for late summer/fall
SCHEDULE: When in OKC, hours are Monday–Friday, 11am–5/6pm + every other week date night, hours may be longer when in Del Mar or traveling
COMPENSATION: $35–$40/hr gross (on payroll) + health insurance!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have infant & toddler experience
- Valid passport & comfort with domestic/international travel
- Confident driving large SUVs (nanny car provided in both OKC + Del Mar)
- Up to date on Tdap, MMR, and annual flu vaccine
- Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mom
- Strong multitasker who is warm, positive, and genuinely engaged
- Pet friendly (home has 2 dogs + 1 cat)
