Wonderful return clients in Santa Monica are seeking an energetic, engaging, and nurturing nanny to care for their adorable 3.5-year-old daughter and 1.5-year-old son. The ideal candidate is playful, patient, attentive, and confident managing two young children. You genuinely enjoy getting on the floor to play, supporting developmental milestones, and creating a safe, happy environment where the children can thrive. This role requires someone who is hands-on, organized, and proactive, with a strong understanding of early childhood development.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Full childcare for a toddler and preschooler, tag team with mom. Every day is different
- Meal prep
- Engaging in age-appropriate, play-based activities
- Supporting developmental milestones and routines
- Ensuring the children’s safety and well-being at all times
- Light tidying and keeping toys clean and organized
- Children’s laundry
- General household assistance related to the children
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM with some flexibility for the occasional date night or weekend help
COMPENSATION: $30–$40/hour, DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of childcare experience, including strong infant and toddler experience
- Solid knowledge of ages and developmental stages
- Longevity in past roles
- Seeking a long-term commitment (2+ years)
- Willingness to travel occasionally (not frequent)
- Up to date on MMR and TDAP vaccine
