A wonderful family in Bel Air is seeking a warm, reliable, and energetic after-school nanny to help keep their busy household and afternoon routine running smoothly. They have two children, ages 8 and 4, and are looking for someone organized, proactive, and confident managing both children independently. Mom works from home but needs a nanny who can seamlessly take the lead once the kids are home from school. Responsibilities will include school pick-ups, transportation to activities, homework help, engaging with the children, and keeping everyone on track through the afternoon. Their 8-year-old son has ADHD and does best with someone who is patient but confident, comfortable redirecting when needed, and able to provide clear and consistent boundaries in a positive way.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• School pick-up and safe, reliable driving to after-school activities

• Preparing simple snacks and light meals

• Helping with homework and keeping the children engaged (think arts and crafts and games)

• Light tidying (dishes, backpacks, etc.) plus general household assistance

• Occasional date-night coverage

• Being an extra set of hands for parents as needed

LOCATION: Bel Air, CA (Roscomare Area)

SCHEDULE: 20 hours/week

  • Four days/week: 2:00–6:00 PM
  • One day/week: 1:30–5:30 PM
  • Occasional date-night coverage as needed

COMPENSATION: $30-$35//hr DOE

REQUIREMENTS:

• Up-to-date on Tdap, MMR, and annual flu vaccine

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record

• Strong communicator with a calm, steady presence

• Energetic, dependable, and great with school-age children

• Comfortable with a cat in the home (no allergies)

• Bonus: college-educated or strong homework-help skills
