Busy Sherman Oaks–based family of four is looking for a proactive and dependable Nanny/Family Assistant to join their home and support with both childcare and household management. The children are aged 5 and 9. Both parents have demanding careers, and they’re seeking an extra set of hands to help keep their home running smoothly!
They are looking for a tech-savvy, resourceful self-starter who is comfortable navigating various apps and ideally has experience with Google Sheets. The ideal candidate will take initiative with tasks such as creating organized to-do lists, researching household services, and finding efficient solutions to keep the household running smoothly.
LOCATION: Sherman Oaks, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 1:00 pm–6:00 pm.
**MUST BE FLEXIBLE to occasionally adjust hours, including staying later or working the occasional weekend shift when requested, or providing overnight support with advanced notice.
RATE: $35/hr
REQUIREMENTS:
- Confident + Safe Driver
- Enjoys preparing healthy, kid-friendly dinners.
- Proactive, organized, independent, and adaptable with strong time-management skills.
- Polite, kind, and flexible in supporting both the children and household needs.
- Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps for scheduling, grocery delivery, Amazon orders, etc.).
From 1-3:30/4pm you will handle the family assistant duties and errands including but not limited to organizing the kids clothes, family laundry and general household organization, meal planning, grocery shopping, and light meal prep, running errands and maintaining household inventory (ordering via Amazon, apps, etc.), tidying common areas, dishwashing, and keeping children’s rooms organized, helping manage family schedules and being a reliable extra set of hands.
The kids get off the bus around 4pm, after you’ve picked them up from the bus stop the rest of the day will revolve around the kiddos including supervising playdates and planning engaging activities and outings, assisting with homework and encouraging outdoor play, supporting their evening routines, including preparing kid-friendly healthy dinners, tidying up, and bath/bedtime prep.
